大型のハリケーン「へリーン」がアメリカ南部フロリダ州に上陸し、これまでに少なくとも25人が死亡するなどの被害が出ています。
アメリカの国立ハリケーンセンターによりますと、「へリーン」は26日、5段階のうち2番目に強いカテゴリー4でフロリダ州に上陸し、最大瞬間風速62.5メートルを記録しました。
へリーンは勢力を維持したまま内陸に進み、CNNによりますと、これまでにフロリダ、ジョージア、ノースカロライナ、サウスカロライナの4州で少なくとも25人が死亡しました。
